Alpha Microsystems: The Santa Ana computer company posted a loss of $1.3 million, or 44 cents per share, for the first quarter of its fiscal 1993, contrasted with net income of $171,000, or 6 cents per share, for the like period last year. Revenue for the quarter ended May 31 fell 6%, to $11.8 million from $12.6 million. Douglas J. Tullio, president and chief executive, attributed the sales decline to the continuing computer industry recession and the weakened economy.
