Share

Officials of the Blind Children’s Learning Center are seeking volunteers to help move the school to its new site.

Spokeswoman Linn Morgan said the center will mark its 30th anniversary on Saturday and Sunday by moving into a larger building at 18542-B Vanderlip Ave. Volunteers will be needed to help move furniture and other items. Also, volunteers will be needed through Friday to help paint the new building.

The preschool teaches children ages six months to 6 years and will be able to expand its enrollment from 43 to 61 students as a result of the move. The center will hold an open house at the building in the fall, Morgan said.
