Roybal Project
I am appalled at Rep. Roybal’s arrogance. We are plagued with record financial deficits and he tries to hide a $10-million pork-barrel project in the defense budget in an attempt to sneak it through Congress. He then has the nerve to condemn Rep. Dan Burton (R-Ind.) for not minding his own business and for not playing the game. Is it any wonder the people are fed up with politicians? Burton is a hero. He may not be making friends in Congress, but he and his fellow “Porkbusters” are appreciated by the taxpayers.
If Rep. Roybal needs to build a monument to his enormous ego, let him do it with private funds. The next time he feels the need to call someone an idiot all he needs to do is look in the mirror.
