Grocery Store Donates $1,500 to School District
Smith’s Food & Drug Centers has donated $1,500 to the Hacienda-La Puente Unified School District. The money represents proceeds from the corrugated and California Redemption Value recycling programs at the La Puente store.
The district plans to use the funds for curriculum materials such as library books, maps, globes and playground equipment.
