Yugoslav Commander Killed in Copter Crash

BELGRADE, Yugoslavia —
The commander of Yugoslavia’s third military district, which includes troubled Kosovo province, was killed Thursday in a helicopter crash, the army said.
Gen. Vladimir Vukovic, 54, died along with two army colonels, a sergeant and a mechanic when their helicopter crashed on Mt. Brezovic in Kosovo, about 35 miles southwest of Pristina.
