ABSENT FATHERS

Nina J. Easton’s “Life Without Father” (June 14) was basically another father-bashing expose. Sure, there are some errant fathers out there, but you never read about those of us who are doing our best to make the payments and who even support the new boyfriends that come along. Our ex-wives are constantly berating us to the children, holding visitation rights over our heads if the support payment is a day late, sending the kids to Dad for the summer with hardly any clothes because they know we will buy new ones.
