Terminal Data Receives Labor Department Pact

Share

Terminal Data Corp., a Moorpark supplier of document image-capturing products and services, has received its second long-term contract in the last three months to maintain computer systems for the federal government. The latest deal, valued at more than $1 million, is to maintain computers, networks and printers for the Labor Department’s Pension and Welfare Benefits Administration.

The four-year pact calls for TDC to serve as a subcontractor to Jorge Scientific Corp. of Annapolis, Md. The work will be done at 14 sites throughout the country.

In late April, TDC received a five-year, $7.5-million contract to maintain mainframe computers and equipment used in the State Department’s passport issuance system.

A spokeswoman said TDC, which has 200 employees, does not expect to do any major hiring as a result of the new business.
