Advanced Logic Research Inc.: The Irvine manufacturer of microcomputer systems reported a profit of $1.6 million, or 14 cents a share, for its third fiscal quarter, which ended June 30. That compared to earnings of $3.4 million, or 31 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier. Revenue was $52.7 million, up slightly from $52.5 million. The company said its nine-month earnings declined to $3 million, or 27 cents a share, from $10.5 million, or $1.03 a share. Nine-month revenue was down 3% to $158.4 million from $162.6 million.
