Simi Valley : Pair Is Sought in Successive Robberies

Share

Two young men, one armed with a handgun, have robbed two Simi Valley businesses on successive nights, a Simi Valley Police Department spokesman said Tuesday.

On Monday, at 10:55 p.m., the two individuals demanded money from a night clerk at the Travelodge hotel on Erringer Road and ran off with a bundle of cash and checks, Lt. Don Austin said.

The two are believed to be the same pair that robbed a Mobil service station located at Yosemite and Los Angeles avenues late Sunday night, he said.

No one was hurt in either robbery.

The two men were described as being in their 20s. Witnesses described their car as a 1980s model full-size, dark-colored four-door sedan, Austin said.
