Crenshaw : Ridley-Thomas Field Office
Los Angeles City Councilman Mark Ridley-Thomas has opened a field office to serve residents of the Crenshaw and Baldwin Hills areas who are now in the 8th District as a result of recent redistricting.
The Los Angeles council boundaries were redrawn this spring because of population changes recorded in the 1990 Census. The office, located at 4332 11th Ave., will be open Monday through Friday. Hours have not yet been determined.
A full-time area coordinator has been assigned to meet with residents and hold regular meetings pertaining to 8th District issues. It will also be staffed by a full-time representative of the Building and Safety Department as well as a part-time city planner who will handle planning issues.
