With the prince a crewman on a Soling class boat for Spain, the sailing races have become the center of interest for Spain’s royal family.

Queen Sofia has been in town all week with Princesses Cristina and Elena. Although the Spanish team made her the gift of a uniform, the queen takes her sports in the blouse-and-Bermudas ensemble that has become the international standard for well-dressed Olympic watchers.
