Don’t Waste: Water at Night

Regarding “Valley May Be Hardest Hit by New Water Rates,” (Times Valley Edition, July 22), higher costs would be defrayed for many by waiting until evening to water their lawns. It is a wasteful to water lawns during the day when the hot sun evaporates the water.
