The people of San Diego have been asked to cut water usage by at least 20% to help conserve dwindling water supplies. The state is coping with its sixth consecutive year of drought. The chart shows how San Diego’s water conservation efforts went last week.

Water Conservation Tip of the Week

Install water-saving shower heads or flow restrictors. Your hardware or plumbing supply store stocks inexpensive, easy-to-insll shower heads or flow restrictors that will cut your shower flow to about 3 gallons a minute instead of 5 to 10.
