Back in Business: The Syracuse Symphony Orchestra, which suspended its season in March because of money troubles, will resume performances in October, officials said Monday. A 30% cut in the orchestra’s $5.2-million budget will reduce performances from 44 weeks to 35 weeks, but the number of musicians and the quality of concerts will be relatively unaffected, they said.
