STILL SEARCHING: Public defender investigator James Currie still hopes that a segment on TV’s “Unsolved Mysteries,” about his search for his mother, shown again recently, might lead to her whereabouts. He was 4 when his father gained custody in a divorce. The show has produced some results: A brother separated from him as a toddler watched it and has joined his search. And a distant relative called to say she learned years ago his mother had been searching for him too. “That meant a lot,” Currie says.
