HELPING KIDS FARE: Health officials, alarmed that at least one in four children in California have no insurance, are taking their concern to local playgrounds this weekend. . . . Parents who cannot afford immunizations or health screenings can take their children to one of 30 Kids Care Fairs throughout Southern California. Included is Santa Ana’s Corbin Community Center on Saturday and the Boys & Girls Club of Buena Park on Sunday. “It’s the only hope some kids have for seeing a doctor,” a spokeswoman says.
