NEW SCHOOL BELL: Brea-Olinda High School will soon get its own electronic library. Pacific Bell chose it as one of two schools statewide for a one-year test hooking up classroom computers with electronic databases worldwide. PacBell officials envision someday every student in the state connecting to vast resources without ever leaving the classroom. . . . Says Brea-Olinda district Board President Lynn Daucher: “The students will really be teaching themselves. We’ll probably have to tear them away from the computers.”
