The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between July 27 and Aug. 2:
Glendale
South Orange Street, 200 block--Electronic equipment--including a depth recorder, compass, radio and fish finder--and tools, valued together at $2,825, were reported stolen from a stored boat on July 29.
Glenoaks Boulevard and San Rafael Avenue--A woman reported that at 2:35 p.m. July 31 a man snatched her purse, valued at $130, from her shoulder and fled.
North Central Avenue, 800 block--Approximately $1,500 was stolen from a floor safe at an Exxon service station on Aug. 1 or 2.
West Colorado Street, 400 block--Burglars threw a brick through a window to enter Unique Flowers between 2 and 8:45 p.m. Aug. 2. Seven Armani Italian statues, valued at $2,000, and $820 were stolen.
La Canada Flintridge
Commonwealth Avenue, 4400 block--About $250 damage was done to St. George’s Episcopal Church by a shotgun blast on July 27 or 28.
La Crescenta
Queensview Lane, 2500 block--Speakers, turntables, a microphone, a projector, two VCRs and 50 compact discs, valued together at $9,635, were stolen from an unlocked home, possibly by an acquaintance of the occupant, between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. July 27.
Willowhaven Drive, 2600 block--Two men, both armed with revolvers, robbed a man of a Rolex watch, valued at $11,000, in the victim’s driveway at 10:10 p.m. July 30.
Tujunga
Stoneyvale Road, 2100 block--Burglars entered a home through an open window between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. July 30 and stole a VCR, video equipment, musical equipment and cameras, valued together at $7,300.
Cypress Park
Figueroa Street and Avenue 26--Two men forced a woman at a bus stop into their car at 3 p.m. July 31 and drove to a remote area where they raped her.
North Figueroa Street, 2600 block--Two men with a handgun robbed a gas-station employee of $1,350 cash at 7:30 p.m. July 31.
Echo Park
Lucretia and Echo Park avenues--A man was arrested for burglary at 12:10 p.m. July 28 after he attempted to steal jewelry and a stereo valued at $3,166.
Coronado Street, 1300 block--Video equipment and jewelry valued at $2,640 were stolen from a home between 4:30 a.m. and 1:50 p.m. July 29.
Echo Park Avenue and Sunset Boulevard--A man wearing a ski mask robbed a man in a parking facility of his car at 6:40 a.m. July 29.
Echo Park Avenue, 1300 block--A man snatched a woman’s purse, valued at $410, and fled in a waiting vehicle at 1 p.m. July 31.
College Street, 900 block--Five men armed with knives robbed two people in a parking garage of money and jewelry, valued at $500, at 8:55 p.m. July 31.
Effie Street, 1300 block--Three men armed with a rifle demanded money from two people on a sidewalk at 12:05 a.m. Aug. 2. When they refused, one victim was shot and wounded, and the other was shot at.
Eagle Rock
Colorado Boulevard and Figueroa Street--A man snatched a purse, containing $485, from a woman in a parking facility at 8:30 a.m. July 27.
Colorado Boulevard, 2500 block--Three men armed with a semi-automatic handgun robbed a person in a parking facility of money and jewelry, valued at $1,300, at 5:55 p.m. Aug. 1.
Glassell Park
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 3800 block--A man armed with a semiautomatic handgun robbed a business of $1,832 at 5 p.m. July 27.
Wollam Street, 2000 block--Jewelry and money, valued together at $5,640, were stolen from a home between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. July 27.
Highland Park
Marmion Way and Figueroa Street--Two men snatched a purse and jewelry, valued at $355, from a woman walking on a sidewalk at 4:20 a.m. July 27.
South Avenue 63, 100 block--Two women engaged a woman in conversation, persuaded the victim to allow them into her apartment, and then forcibly took $1,126 cash at 11 a.m. July 30.
Raphael Street, 5000 block--Four men armed with a handgun forced their way into a home at 10:30 a.m. July 30, tied the victim up with plastic cord, ransacked the home, and stole jewelry and money, valued together at $13,120.
Los Feliz
Glendale Boulevard, 2700 block--Burglars forced open the front door of an apartment and stole video equipment and jewelry, valued at $1,630, between 7:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. July 27.
Los Feliz Boulevard, 4600 block--Two men smashed the backdoor window of an apartment and stole computer equipment, valued at $1,400, at 2 p.m. July 28.
Hollyvista Avenue, 1900 block--A burglar entered a home through an open front window and stole video equipment and cameras, valued at $1,323, between 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. July 28.
North Alexandria Avenue, 1600 block--Two men entered a home at gunpoint, tied, gagged and beat the victims for information, and fled with money and jewelry, valued at $11,500, at 1:30 p.m. July 30.
Parva Avenue, 4100 block--Burglars entered a home through an open window between 12:30 and 9 a.m. Aug. 1 and stole a TV and video equipment valued at $2,910.
Fountain Avenue and Edgemont Street--Two men dragged a woman along the ground until she let go of her purse at 1:40 p.m. Aug. 1. They escaped with the purse, which contained $1,615.
Mt. Washington
Mt. Washington Drive, 300 block--Two men pried open a garage door and stole a TV and tools, valued at $3,000, at 4 p.m. July 30.
Silver Lake
Hollypark Place, 3800 block--Tools and sporting goods, valued at $3,465, were stolen between July 24 and 26.
Greensward Road, 3500 block--Firearms and a vehicle, valued at $4,000, were stolen from a home at 1 p.m. July 27.
Silver Lake Boulevard, 1800 block--Thieves smashed a kitchen window to gain access to an apartment and steal appliances and recorded music, valued at $3,500, between 6:30 and 9 p.m. July 28.
Blake Avenue, 1700 block--Burglars broke through the drywall of a storage shed and stole music and other items, valued at $5,562, on July 29 or 30.
Benton Way, 1500 block--A stereo and TV, valued at $3,000, were stolen from a home at 8 p.m. July 30.
Baxter Street, 2300 block--Video equipment and a TV, valued at $5,400, were stolen from a home between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. July 31.
Gilroy Street, 2900 block--Tools valued at $11,900 were stolen from a business between 8 and 9 a.m. July 31.
Rockford Road, 1900 block--Money and a TV, valued together at $2,080, were stolen from a home at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 1. Some property was recovered when the victim returned home and the thief fled.
