Westwood : Museum Needs Volunteers

The Armand Hammer Museum of Art and Cultural Center in Westwood is seeking volunteers for its upcoming exhibit Splendors of the Ottomon Sultans, which will run Sept. 16 to Dec. 16.

According to a museum official, volunteers will be needed to work with the public throughout the exhibit.

Training of the volunteers will begin in late August.

The exhibit will feature more than 270 artistic treasures from Istanbul’s famous Topkapi Palace and other major Turkish museums. The Ottomon sultans ruled what is now Turkey for more than 600 years.
