VENTURA : Council May Extend Adult Business Ban
The Ventura City Council will consider Monday extending a temporary ordinance that bans adult businesses and theaters until June, 1993.
The ordinance, which expires Thursday, was adopted last June to allow officials more time to decide where such businesses should be located. Downtown merchants and church groups are now urging the council to take long-term action to ban the businesses.
