Rothbard on Democrats

Rothbard first tries to convince conservatives that the Democratic Party is nothing but a mass of seething, angry minorities and lesbians headed off by a militant Hilary Clinton! What? He further insults us by assuming we all agree that multiculturalism and feminism are dirty words. That just isn’t true. The majority of conservatives do not have a looming fear and hatred of intelligent women (as Rothbard clearly does), nor are we afraid that when the Democratic Party recognizes minorities and gays they are automatically out to get the rest of us.

My private property and my rights as a private citizen will not be taken away by the Democratic Party (least of all, Hillary!). My private property is being eaten away, however, by the millions of dollars of taxpayers money the Bush Administration is using to cover up its mistakes (“Star Wars,” S&L; bailout), and by its clear mismanagement of the economy at home and in foreign markets. Rothbard is part of a frightened minority whose grievances have no place in either party, and whose real agenda has no place in politics.
