Agents from the Border Patrol Station in Boulevard on Monday arrested a 26-year-old Tijuana man suspected of driving across the border with 302 pounds of marijuana.
The man, who was not identified, also reportedly rammed a Border Patrol car during an attempt to flee about 7:40 a.m. along Tierra del Sol Road, near Ribbonwood Road, said Border Patrol spokesman Steve Kean.
No injuries were reported.
The driver was booked on suspicion of felony assault on a federal officer and felony importation of a controlled substance, Kean said.
