THOUSAND OAKS : Roof Repair to Close Portions of Library
Portions of the Thousand Oaks Library will close this week to allow workers to repair the roof for leaks.
Sections of the library at 1401 E. Janss Road are expected to close on Thursday, Friday and Monday, said library Director Marvin F. Smith.
Smith said he did not know which specific areas of the library would have to be closed. However, he said the repair work will take about six weeks to complete. Areas of the library not under repair will remain open to visitors.
The library has had a problem with roof leaks since the $9-million building was constructed about 10 years ago.
