The Glendale Housing Authority unanimously agreed Tuesday to provide a $300,000 loan to help a Glendale couple build a nine-unit, $1-million housing project for low-income senior citizens.
Construction is expected to begin early next month on the 714 E. Elk Ave. project to be built by John and Haroldine Chandler. Monthly rent for one-bedroom units will range from $356 to $438, depending on the household size, officials said.
