Republicans on Abortion

After spending years courting the far-right conservative wing of his party, President Bush finds himself in trouble.
He is having a “convention conversion.” With a very well-orchestrated announcement by his wife he is now trying to become more pro-choice (Aug. 14). How can you trust a man like this? I’m having a very difficult time reading his lips. Is it possible that his lips never move?
His only way out may be to have the convention nominate Barbara for President and him for vice president. That will solve his other major problem as well.
