Does Unfiltered Olive Oil Contain More Fiber?

First, it was extra-virgin olive oil, then extra-virgin from specific regions and producers. Now at least two unfiltered , place-named extra-virgins are being sold in Los Angeles. The light, sharp, peppery Tenuta del Numerouno, produced by the Bicocchii family in the southern Tuscan town of Follonica, has been joined by the fuller and fruitier Azienda di Impruneta in Chianti, from the Chianti area just outside Florence. A 500-ml bottle of Azienda di Impruneta is $15.95 at Broadway Deli in Santa Monica, $24 at Wally’s Wine and Spirits in Westwood. The Tenuta del Numerouno is $25/750 ml at Broadway Deli, $27/500 ml at Wally’s.
