Northridge Pavilion Plans Health Club, Supermarket

Northridge Pavilion Associates, a Sun Valley partnership that plans to develop a $50-million, 250,000-square-foot shopping center in Northridge, announced the signing of lease agreements with Vons supermarket and the Sports Connection health club.

Northridge Pavilion said Vons will open a 51,000-square-foot store and Sports Connection will operate a 24,000-square-foot club in the proposed shopping center at Shirley Avenue and Plummer Street near Northridge Fashion Center.

Construction on the the shopping center, Northridge Pavilion, is expected to begin by year’s end and will last for at least a year, a spokesman said. Northridge Pavilion will have enough space to lease more than 50 shops.
