Alhambra : Fire Department Number

The Fire Department announced a new non-emergency number for use when the department’s administrative offices at 301 N. 1st St. are closed.
The number, (818) 570-5199, will provide assistance on Fridays and weekends.
Administrative Chief Richard Ingram said the number connects with a battalion chief’s office. If unanswered, it will forward to the dispatch operator. The administrative offices switched to a Monday-Thursday work schedule on July 16 to meet AQMD requirements.
The non-emergency number is for use when a potentially dangerous fire hazard has been spotted. Emergency callers should continue to dial 911. Callers with less urgent business should leave a message with the department’s answering machine.
