Dan Quayle

It was a pleasure to read something about Vice President Dan Quayle that did not strike me as overwhelmingly biased against him and/or his beliefs (“Quayle Pushes Family Values, Lashes Critics,” Aug. 21).
Quayle’s convention speech highlighted his remarkable courage, faith and stamina to stand against certain powerful special interest groups and their media friends.
Thank you, Mr. Quayle, for fighting tenaciously for the “right things.”
