Discrepancy in Cities’ Water Rate Hikes
Re: 54% Water Rate Hike in South Pasadena (Times, Aug. 23).
It was announced several days ago on the radio that all cities will be compelled to rebuild the ravaged city of Los Angeles.
But isn’t the 54% hike proposed for South Pasadena’s water rates excessive compared to Azusa’s 11%?
Is this just a precursor for additional demands on our dwindling incomes?
