Women in Military
No wonder the men in charge of the military don’t think women can handle combat roles. No wonder they don’t believe women have a “warrior spirit.” We women accept doing equal work for less pay. We accept the violence against women in rock videos and songs. We buy our daughters dolls, our sons games and toys of aggression. We accept working all day to bring home a paycheck but only ask for “help” with getting dinner on the table, washing the clothes, and cleaning the house. We accept kitchen appliances and vacuum cleaners as birthday presents. We accept standards of beauty defined by male sexual desires. We accept abuse from husbands.
If it isn’t a “warrior spirit” that gets us through the garbage we accept each day, then what is it? Where is our outrage at these men’s statements, women? No one would dare say those things about various ethnic groups. Why are we accepting it about us?
