IBM Product to Link With Apple: IBM will announce Tuesday a way to link its popular minicomputer line with Apple Computer’s Macintosh, a development stemming from the alliance between the computer makers, industry executives say. The announcement will kick off a busy September for the world’s largest computer maker. On Thursday, International Business Machines Corp. will unveil the long-rumored revamping of its personal computer business. It will follow that with a slew of new PC products. Neither IBM nor Apple comments on unannounced products.
