Chevron May Sell Ortho: Chevron Chemical Co. announced that it is seeking offers for its Ortho lawn and garden products division. Ortho has about $250 million in annual sales of indoor and outdoor insecticides, fungicides and weed killers. A Chevron spokesman said 1991 was the division’s record year for sales and profits. The division is headquartered in San Ramon, Calif., and employs 580 people.
