Suspected Maoist guerrillas exploded a bomb outside a police first aid station in central Lima, killing at least five people and injuring more than 20. The attack brought to 27 the number of people killed in a weekend of violence by Sendero Luminoso (Shining Path) guerrillas across Peru.
