New Notebook Computer: For working people on the road, Advanced Logic Research Inc., a computer maker in Irvine, has launched a new upgradable color notebook computer that weighs 7.5 pounds.
Aimed at competing with a similar model from Austin-based Dell Computer Corp., the ALR model will sell for $2,949 to $3,249, depending on the amount of computer storage provided.
