Tunisia Receives $10-Million U.S. Grant

TUNIS, Tunisia —
The United States has granted Tunisia $10 million to support the government’s privatization program, the U.S. Embassy said Friday.
An agreement on the grant was signed in Tunis Friday by Secretary of State for Foreign Affaires Noureddine Mejdoub, U.S. Ambassador John McCarthy and the USAID reprensentative in Tunis.
Last month the United States granted Tunisia $18.5 million to train managers in the private sector.
