NO ONE DOES IT BETTER THAN MARTHA

“Martha Inc.” (by Verlyn Klinkenborg, Aug. 2) captured the flavor of a controversial woman. One can’t help admiring Martha Stewart’s ideas, and it’s interesting that people tend to hate her for doing well. If you’re a homemaker, she does it better than you. If you’re a working woman, you have your hands full trying to do it all, much less meeting Stewart’s standards.

Perhaps it was summed up best by my wife’s daughter when she said: “I’d like to go to one of Martha Stewart’s dinner parties. I just wouldn’t want to sit next to her.”
