The coming of fall doesn’t necessarily mean cooler temperatures in Los Angeles, and the same can be said for the soaps. With school back in session, the focus returns to the adults, whose romances and other adventures promise to be as hot as ever.

“All My Children”--Erica and Dimitri’s love affair takes a surprising turn in Budapest. Natalie and Trevor’s devotion deepens despite their tragedy. Adam faces romantic, suspenseful complications concerning Gloria, Stuart and Charlie.

“General Hospital”--Bill and Holly embark on a romantic caper. Tracy’s discovery of a secret from Jenny’s past forces a re-evaluation of their relationship. A new visitor to Port Charles takes Jagger by surprise. Scotty and Dominique marry on impulse. Can Mac save Felicia?

“Loving”--Casey and Ally’s continued clashes mask mutual romantic sparks. Cooper and Hannah get cozy, unaware of Isabelle’s plans for them. Ava finds success in work and love. How far will Dinah Lee go on her self-destructive course? Corinth gets a new resident.

“One Life to Live”--The married Viki becomes close to Sloan. Alex hopes to rule the crime world again by remaking Mortimer into the image of her dead thug of a husband. Luna, Max and the mysterious Suede form a triangle. A couple will marry in November.

“Another World”--Did Kevin murder Lucas? Grant wants more from Vicky than a business relationship. Paulina and Jake’s relationship deteriorates. A mysterious stranger helps Jenna and Dean in the music world. Felicia tries to bring daughters Jenna and Lorna together.

“Days of Our Lives”--Kimberley battles her other personality, Lacey. Marlena and Roger’s relationship extends beyond doctor-patient bounds. Isabella and John must come to terms with her inoperable cancer. Lisanne plots to marry Lawrence. Jennifer has her baby.

“Santa Barbara”--Reese and Jodie’s marriage shatters because of a long-held secret. Mason and Julia square off for a judicial seat. Ken’s marriage to Sophia still leaves room for Andie. An Italian adventure awaits Warren, B.J., Jodie and Micah.

“As the World Turns”--Holden returns to Oakdale, where Lily finds she has romanticcompetition; Hutch discovers the same about Rosanna. Hal’s undercover case embroils him and Barbara in danger and romance. Courtney and Andy marry. Scott likes a disinterested Lucinda.

“The Bold and the Beautiful”--Characters from “B&B;” and its sister show, “The Young and the Restless,” meet at the Forrester fashion show. Stephanie and Sally both try to win Jack’s heart. A Forrester baby is born. Thorne must make a crucial decision.

“Guiding Light”--Mallet and Harley’s future is uncertain following an explosion. The Frank/Eleni/Alan-Michael triangle ignites. Alex returns to Springfield, wondering if Nick has accepted her. Will Vanessa and Billy reconcile, or will Nadine get Billy back?
