Teacher Pay Cuts
I am a public school teacher in Los Angeles. The school board has proposed cutting my salary by 17.5%. For the last few years I have had trouble getting sufficient supplies for my classroom due to budget cuts. My classroom looks extremely derelict due to lack of maintenance money. I try to remain a dedicated teacher, but to the people of Los Angeles I finally must say: You get what you pay for.
