Teacher Pay Cuts

One of the placards read, “Could You Survive a 20% Cut in Pay?” Join the club, teachers! My husband has had a small business in Torrance for the last 33 years, and over the past year he has had to cut salaries 20% (including his). He did this to keep the company solvent, and to keep paychecks and health insurance coming to his employees. Everyone, including teachers, must tighten their belts!
