PLATFORM : Exercising Rights

I have voted at every election since I was old enough to vote. I believe the democratic process is one of our most treasured rights. This right is what separates us from most of the world.

When so-called Americans deny me my right to carry out this process, then the principles that we hold dear will gradually fade away. My rights were violated by some thugs in the guise of Republicans. They don’t seem to think people have a right to listen to the other candidates, or vote for whom they want to.

I don’t consider myself either a Republican or Democrat. I want to make an intelligent choice based on what each candidate has to say. I was not allowed to. I’m not talking about the right to protest. That too, is our American right. I’m talking about a group infringing on a right that people have died for.
