Ato Boldon of Trinidad and Tobago, a law student at San Jose City College, won the men’s 200 meters and Ethiopia’s Haile Gsilase won the men’s 5,000 at the World Junior Track and Field Championships at Seoul.
Boldon, who earlier won the 100, took the 200 in 20.63 seconds. Gsilase, 19, who earlier won the 10,000, had a winning time of 13 minutes 36.06 seconds in the 5,000.
China won two more gold medals, as Hu Ling took the women’s 200 meters and Wang Junxia won the women’s 10,000. Earlier, China won golds in the women’s shotput and 800 meters.
