Pay-Fone Posts Profit of $51,570 for Quarter

Pay-Fone Systems Inc., a provider of automated payroll services, posted a fiscal fourth-quarter profit of $51,570, compared with a year-earlier loss of $150,912.

The earnings in the quarter ended June 30 came despite a 4% dip in Pay-Fone’s revenue, to $1.21 million from $1.26 million a year earlier.

For its full fiscal year, Pay-Fone earned $82,396, compared with a $194,682 loss the prior year, and its annual revenue slipped to $5.19 million from $5.25 million.
