ONE FOR SISTERHOOD: Those two Orange police cruisers will be heading to Mexico after all, thanks to Frank Greinke, president of Southern Counties Oil. The City Council this month nixed plans to give the high-mileage cruisers to Orange’s sister city of Queretaro, Mexico. The council said it looked bad to give anything away in today’s economy. Greinke has agreed to buy them and send one to Queretaro, the other to Loreto in Baja, where he keeps a vacation home. Actually, Greinke praises the council members’ decision: “They should look to private business like us to support these kind of things.”
