Mel Farr Jr. testified that the NFL exploited his desire to play professionally by paying him to be part of a practice squad for the Rams.
The former running back told an eight-member jury in Washington that the NFL took advantage of him and other players by paying them $1,000 a week to join developmental--or practice--squads during 1989.
