Hard Rock, Harrah’s End Casino Plans: Hard Rock Cafe America said it and Harrah’s Casino Hotels have terminated plans to develop a Hard Rock casino and hotel in Las Vegas. Harrah’s was to have managed the $75-million Hard Rock project under an agreement announced last year. But both parties disagreed “over who had what element of control on the project,” according to a Hard Rock official. Hard Rock Cafe America, which already operates a Las Vegas restaurant, said it is negotiating with a new project manager and plans to start construction early next year.
