Access HealthNet Notes Purchased

A group of investment funds has purchased $500,000 of convertible notes and warrants issued by Access HealthNet Inc., a Westlake Village company that develops medical information and management systems.
The buying group was led by LifeSciences Technology Partners, an investment firm that specializes in funding health care ventures. The notes and warrants are convertible into 1.67 million shares of Access HealthNet common stock, or 24.1% of the total outstanding.
Access HealthNet said it would use the capital to to accelerate the introduction of its two new information systems in the health-care market.
