Amperif Subsidiary Wins $2.8-Million Contract

Amperif Corp., a Chatsworth-based manufacturer of computer data storage systems, said its Canadian subsidiary has won a contract to install mass storage systems for Employment and Immigration Canada in Quebec.
Amperif said the value of the contract is nearly $3.5 million in Canadian dollars, or about $2.8 million in U.S. dollars. Amperif said the contract calls for Amperif Canada Ltd. to supply up to 21 of its Model 8100 Mass Storage Systems over the next 18 months.
