The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between Sept. 21 and Sept. 27:

Glendale

Canada Boulevard, 1800 block--Power tools and a TV, valued at $1,050, were reported stolen from an open garage at 5:55 p.m. Sept. 21.

Honolulu Avenue, 2400 block--Four tires and wheels and other automotive equipment, valued at $2,860, were stolen from an automobile dealership Sept. 21 or 22.

Broadway and Glendale Avenue--A man walking home from a bus stop was assaulted by two men who cut his hand with a knife and attempted to rob him at 1:20 a.m. Sept. 22. The victim had no money and the assailants fled.

San Fernando Road, 4500 block--A man robbed two liquor store clerks at gunpoint of $200 cash and two six-packs of beer at 3:50 p.m. Sept. 24.

Honolulu Avenue, 2600 block--An automotive engine, valued at $800, was stolen from an auto repair shop Sept. 24 or 25.

West Glenoaks Boulevard, 300 block--An automotive engine, valued at $2,800, was stolen from the bed of a pickup truck Sept. 25 or 26.

Eulalia Street, 100 block--An apartment was ransacked and burglarized between Sept. 25 and 27, and a stereo and mountain bike, valued at $800, were stolen.

North Brand Boulevard, 500 block--A bank teller was robbed of $689 cash by a man at 12:10 p.m. Sept. 26.

Lomita Street, 500-900 blocks--A prowler entered an apartment at 2:15 a.m. Sept. 26, placed his hand over the mouth of a sleeping girl and fled when she screamed. At 3 a.m. the same day, a man in a nearby apartment reported that a screen had been pried off a window. On Sept. 27, a woman reported seeing a prowler in her yard at 2:20 a.m. It is possible the events are related, police said.

California Avenue, 600 block--A woman reported that she was accosted by two men who pulled her into the bushes and tore off her pants at 2:10 a.m. Sept. 27. She screamed and the men fled as pedestrians approached.

La Crescenta

Foothill Boulevard, 2600 block--A woman reported that while she was walking into a supermarket at 9:20 p.m. Sept. 24, a man drove by in a truck and snatched her purse, valued at $35.

Prospect Avenue, 3100 block--Housekeepers startled a man and woman who had entered a home and ransacked it at about 10 a.m. Sept. 25. The intruders fled to a truck parked nearby. A neighbor grabbed some stolen items from the vehicle, but the thieves forcibly took back the items and escaped with a stereo, VCR, CD player and a jacket, valued at $1,920.

Atwater Village

Fletcher Drive and San Fernando Road--Two men held a knife to a woman’s back and robbed her of her purse, which contained money and credit cards, valued at $5,020, at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 20.

Fletcher Drive, 2800 block--Burglars smashed the front window of a hair salon and stole business machines and a TV, valued at $1,010, on Sept. 24 or 25.

Cypress Park

San Fernando Road and Huron Street--A man asked a person on the sidewalk for a quarter, then snatched a watch, valued at $600, from the victim’s wrist at 4 p.m. Sept. 21.

Figueroa Street, 2600 block--Three men robbed a man at knifepoint of his car and $900 cash at 9:40 p.m. Sept. 22.

San Fernando Road, 600 block--Burglars broke the side window of an auto repair shop and stole a TV and tools, valued at $1,075, on Sept. 24 or 25.

Eagle Rock

Stratford Road, 4800 block--Thieves cut the lock of a storage shed and stole household goods, valued at $3,450, sometime between June 10 and Sept. 23.

Laverna Avenue, 2100 block--A man kicked open a woman’s apartment door, choked her and raped her between 2 and 5 a.m. Sept. 23.

Colorado Boulevard, 2300 block--Household goods, valued at $1,550, were stolen from a business between Sept. 24 and 26.

Glassell Park

Estara Avenue, 2900 block--Jewelry and cash, valued at $12,110, were stolen from a house between 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Sept. 21.

Highland Park

Umbria Street, 600 block--Thieves entered a house through an unlocked window and stole money and jewelry, valued at $9,250, between 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Sept. 22.

Avenue 57, 1200 block--Burglars entered an unlocked house Sept. 24 or 25 and stole jewelry and money, valued together at $44,592.

Fayette Street and Avenue 57--Two men in a car threatened another motorist at a stop sign with a gun and robbed the victim of $2,477 cash at 9:30 a.m. Sept. 26.

Los Feliz

Kenmore Avenue, 1900 block--Computer and video equipment, valued at $4,300, were stolen from a house Sept. 20 or 21.

Farmouth Drive, 4000 block--Camera equipment and jewelry, valued at $7,720, were reported stolen from a house Sept. 21.

North Vermont Avenue, 2700 block--A thief stole a wallet and jewelry, valued at $2,800, from a woman’s purse while she was in a movie theater between 7:30 and 10 p.m. Sept. 22.

Russell Avenue, 4600 block--Two men armed with a sawed-off shotgun took a motorist’s car at 10:45 p.m. Sept. 25.

North Normandie Avenue, 1900 block--Computer and camera equipment, valued at $2,558, were stolen from an apartment Sept. 25 or 26.

Lyric Avenue, 2300 block--Thieves pried open the sliding glass door of a house, stole a stereo and music equipment, valued at $3,200, then took the victims’ car keys and car, which they abandoned across the street, on Sept. 25 or 26.

Hillhurst Avenue, 2100 block--Jewelry and consumable goods, valued at $2,500, were stolen from a hair salon that was broken into Sept. 25 or 26.

Mt. Washington

Moon Avenue, 700 block--Sporting goods, valued at $1,108, were stolen from an open garage between Sept. 19 and 21.

Silver Lake

Micheltorena Street, 1700 block--Burglars smashed the rear-door window of a house, ransacked it and stole video and camera equipment, valued at $1,850, between 7:15 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Sept. 22.

Glendale Boulevard, 1400 block--Two men robbed a man of his car at gunpoint at 5:40 a.m. Sept. 23.

Glendale Boulevard, 2400 block--A man simulated a handgun and handed a bank teller a note demanding money. The robber fled with $1,077 cash at 1:25 p.m. Sept. 23.

Riverside Drive, 1600 block--Burglars stole supplies and equipment, valued at $30,590, from a storage shed Sept. 24 or 25.

Waterloo Street and Scott Avenue--A man entered a woman’s workplace and raped her at 2:30 p.m. Sept. 26.
