Game Helps Prepare for SAT

Share

A new board game designed to relieve the boredom of studying for college-admission exams, such as the Scholastic Aptitude Test, has been developed by professors and is being sold by the National Assn. of Secondary School Principals.

The game, called “Test Taking Advantage: The Strategy Game That Prepares You for the SAT,” features questions similar to those on the SAT, according to an article in the September issue of Better Homes and Gardens.

Players win by giving correct answers and moving up the board. The 10 categories of playing cards are algebra, geometry, arithmetic, sentence correction, usage, strategy, antonyms, analogy, reading comprehension and sentence completion.
